Famous Dave’s of Hayward hosts Professional Fishing Guide, Mike Best, as he demonstrates how to bait the hook, cast and reel, as well as answer any fishing questions.

Every year we celebrate the 4th of July with a spectacular fireworks show over beautiful Round Lake. Be sure to arrive early at Famous Dave’s to grab a bite to eat and an ice cold beverage before you settle in your favorite spot out on our patio or lawn to enjoy the show because we pack big crowd!

The Lumberjack World Championships® in Hayward, Wisconsin showcases over 21 unique competitions and world records in events ranging from men’s and women’s logrolling, to chopping and the exciting pole climb. Over 100 plus competitors vie for more than $50,000 in prize money, making this one of the largest purses for lumberjack competition in the world.
To enthusiastic off-road bicyclists from across the country, the annual trek to the Chequamegon (She-wa-me-gon) Fat Tire Festival presented by Trek means fat tire racing and fat tire fun. Each year in mid-September, thousands of fat tired fliers descend on the towns of Cable and Hayward in northwestern Wisconsin to take on the off road bicycle tests of endurance and agility offered throughout the weekend.
